​George Zaloom

 

George Zaloom is an expert on all aspects of gaming and is an internationally recognized speaker on the topic. He has presented and moderated panels at virtually every major casino and gaming conference. The company he founded, Goplay.com, was the first social casino gaming distribution and marketing platform.  Mr. Zaloom was also the founder and CEO of the popular children’s online gaming and social networking destination giantHello.com.

Since founding The Las Vegas Whaling Company, Zaloom has been responsible for launching three of Los Angeles' leading mobile game studios. 

 

He was recently contracted to support Aristocrat Technology’s Unified Platform Initiative, a suite of connected tools and AI services that enable operators to engage casino patrons in real time. Products included cardless and cashless technology, as well as intelligent card reader hardware and software.

Prior to that, Zaloom headed up US casino operator Boyd Gaming's foray into iGaming and social with the relaunch of the Stardust brand.

 

Before his segue into technology, Mr. Zaloom was an Executive Vice President at DreamWorks SKG, where he oversaw the production of one of the studio’s most successful digitally animated films, Kung Fu Panda.

Prior to DreamWorks, he ran a major independent production company that serviced many Hollywood studios -- personal clients included Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Francis Coppola, and Bill Gates.  Total worldwide revenues from filmed entertainment properties conceived and managed by Mr. Zaloom exceed $1.2 billion.

 

Mr. Zaloom is known for his ability to quickly launch and scale business operations.  He has singlehandedly crewed engineering teams of 40+ in less than six months.  His cross-platform experience as a Hollywood content producer provides an uncanny ability to create products that connect with audiences worldwide.
